Abstract

Within the range of standardized assessment instruments available in our context, there is a considerable gap regarding the psychological evaluation of basic skills relevant at the preschool level. To address the need for an instrument capable of filling this gap and providing a comparable measure of progress across different areas of development, the authors developed the Scale for the Behavioral Assessment of Preschool Skills.
