Abstract

A behavior modification program in group is presented in this work, directed to mothers who consulted in the District Mental Health Care Team of Santa Fe (Granada, Spain) for to observe behavioral problems in his sons, aged between 3 and 14 years. The principal result obtained was a good therapeutic response in all cases that completed the program except one. Likewise, we observed another findings: a) a very high desertion rate of the program; b) the anxiety and the life styles of mothers lets they to see certain behaviors as inadequates; c) a transfer of the learned for the mothers to other behaviors of his sons and areas of the everyday life.
