This study reports the factorial structure of the scale used in a prevention program, to assess the risk of alcoholconsumption among Schoolchildren. The sample of 3134 students was split in order to obtain two sub-samples. With the
first sample, an exploratory factorial analysis served to establish a basic five-factor structure. The confirmatory factorial
analysis, using the second sample, achieved a structural model with good adjustment indicators both the whole model
and the measures models included. This instrument is an advance in the context of prevention programs; however, it is
necessary to obtain more evidence about the properties about it.
