.Abstract
Following the format of our first piece, published in the previous issue of Apuntes de Psicología, we now present this second interview, conducted during the days of the First International Congress on Psychological Assessment, held in Madrid in September 1984.
Our choice of interviewee was guided by two factors that made her particularly well suited to our purpose: Rocío Fernández Ballesteros was the president of that scientific meeting and is also one of the most highly regarded figures in our country in the field of behavioral assessment. These two circumstances prompted us to pose a series of questions aimed at learning about the current state of psychological assessment, the reasons behind the organization of the aforementioned congress, and the academic prospects for psychology at the university level.
