Presentation of the special issue on Critical Psychology Sessions

In September 2017, a group of researchers, professors, and professionals in Psychology gathered at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid) to hold the Critical Psychology Sessions. These sessions served as a meeting point to discuss and compare opinions, at a deliberate pace, about what is happening in Psychology, why it occurs, where we are failing as a science, and what can be done in the face of social influences. Above all, the sessions focused on exploring realistic proposals for the future that could enable psychology to become a truly innovative science, applying its knowledge to solve the problems of the contemporary world [...].
