Abstract

The study has been conducted on verbal memory, attention and executive functions in 20 patients affected by severe mental disorder applying IPT (Integrated Psychological Therapy) cognitive subprograms. It's been used TAVEC test as well as computerized version of CPT, Stroop and Hanoi Tower Test to evaluate the performance of subjects. FBF-3 has also been used to elucidate the training aspects more related to the self conscience on the deficit. Clear improvements have been obtained in some indexes, whereas others have shown resistents to the intervention. The scope and relevance of the data is to be discussed in the current context.
