Distribution Lists in Psychology: the case of PsicoEduc

Abstract

Distribution lists in the Internet are one of the most used resources for debating and distributing information in the academic and professional contexts, The recent history of one of these forum, PsicoEduc, related to Educational Pscyhology in Spanish, is analysed. Data relative to number of subscribers, participation and discussion topics, among others, are presented. This quantitative analysis serves as a basis for determining the main present difficulties and future challenges distribution lists face.
