Abstract

The present study analyzes the psychometric characteristics (factors and internal consistency) of the Bortner Scale for the assessment of Type A Behaviour Pattern (TABP). Traditionally, locus of control has been related to TABP. In our study locus of control was assessed using the MMCS scale. Data from 281 students of Psychology at the University of La Laguna were obtained. Results show the existence of a relationship between locus of control and TABP.
