.Abstract
The aim of this paper is to provide those working in the field of adult continuing education (Educación Permanente de Adultos, EPA) with an overview of the cognitive characteristics of the populations targeted by our interventions, as well as the factors responsible for modifying these patterns. Furthermore, we aim to propose a set of topics that can initiate a debate on the relevance of the intervention work carried out so far in this field.
