Psychoanalytic technique (I). Historical outline

Abstract

Publications on psychoanalytic technique are scarce and usually accessible only to initiates. Moreover, there are very few comprehensive reviews or updates.

We have set out to undertake such a task through a series of brief articles, the first of which must necessarily be a historical review, beginning with the birth of psychoanalysis under S. Freud and continuing until it became a refined technique.
