Women and aging. Psychological aspects

Abstract

In this paper are analized the psychological aspects which characterize the aging process in women. Also considered are the different transitions (physical, social, familiar, etc.) which have traditionally defined the middle-age of woman, and the transforming role played in these transitions by the female incorporation to the labour market and the affect on women's life derived from a demographical situation characterized by the population's aging.
