II National Congress of Psychology of Physical Activity and Sport (Granada, April 9–11, 1987)

Abstract

The II National Congress was held with great success and high participation, attended not only by graduates in psychology but also by physical education graduates, coaches, athletes, and even administrators interested in the development of this emerging discipline.

On this occasion, distinguished researchers in the field were invited as special guests, including R. Schmidt from the Department of Kinesiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, a specialist in motor behavior sciences; and W. Halliwell, professor in the Department of Physical Education at the University of Montreal and psychologist for the Canadian team at the World Cup.
