Abstract

The philosophy of integrating children with disabilities into mainstream schools, embraced today under the slogan A school for all, requires not only an appropriate legislative framework but also the commitment of all professionals. They must work towards this alternative, which respects individual differences, by developing curriculum designs that move away from the traditional psychopathological approaches in which they were originally trained.
