The author reflects on the advantages and disadvantages of the different internal organizational models of the Official Association of Psychologists and, using professional psychology organizations in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and the United States as a reference, opts for the model of Areas of Knowledge and Intervention, which will take the form of Sections or Divisions.
The aim is to provide a basis for discussion on the Association's organizational future, a matter that, to a large extent, will answer in the coming years the question of where we are headed.
