Abstract

We want with this paper to give to know an instrument of metaknowlegde assessment about the understanding of texts. It is a questionnaire of múltiple selection that consists of 26 questions that are contained in seven blocks of processes: metaknowlegde on the meaning and sense of the reading, metaknowlegde about planning strategies, supervisión, self-assessment, transfer and generalization, textual integration and integration text-previous knowledge. A brief qualitative analysis is exposed on the content of the test, as well as a quantitative analysis on relative aspects to the ítems, the validity and the reliability. They are picked up some results of a recent investigation equally, with a sample of 1006 fellows, in which you applies the instrument.
