Evaluación psicopedagógica de la discapacidad intelectual ligera y del retraso límite: elementos y modos de evaluación

The aim of this study is to collect information from the counsellors on the assessment issues of children with cognitive disability, giving special attention to the methodology used to distinguish between those showing a borderline intelligence from those showing slight mental retardation.Data collected, via a questionnaire, “Assignment methods used to group special education needs” from active counsellors, regarding slight mental retardation, borderline intelligence and the instruments used in the fore mentioned assessment are now presented.
