El lenguaje como un proceso colaborativo: una replicación sobre el modelo colaborativo de Clark (Schober y Clark 1989)

Resumen

El presente estudio pretende replicar los diseños experimentales realizados por Clark y sus colaboradores en 1989 para comprobar el modelo colaborativo del lenguaje. En este estudio se sustituye la tarea original con el Tangram por el videojuego Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes. A las 20 parejas participantes se les analizaron el tiempo de ejecución, número de errores, cantidad de intervenciones y número de palabras. Al igual que en el estudio original de 1987, en otra fase del experimento un tercer oyente realizó la tarea a partir de la grabación de otra pareja desactivando las bombas. Los resultados encontrados en este estudio indican la reducción en el número de intervenciones y de palabras a lo largo de los ensayos, así como el descenso del número de errores y tiempo empleado. No se encontraron diferencias entre el desempeño de la tarea llevada a cabo por parejas y los oyentes ajenos a la comunicación. Estos datos sugieren que, en efecto, el lenguaje tiende a seguir el modelo colaborativo basado en referencias comunes.
