Abstract

Although still slow and relatively scarce in number, calls for civil service examinations to fill psychologist positions in various public agencies are becoming increasingly common. There are, without doubt, positive aspects to this development, particularly those related to the gradual establishment of our profession and to the opportunity it provides for some to practise the profession for which they have trained. However, surrounding these examinations there are also less positive, more problematic aspects, some of which are considered in the following article.
