Abstract

José Carlos Caracuel, Professor Caracuel, left us in the spring of 2020. He studied psychology in Barcelona in the early 70s of the last century, where he made friends with many of his professors and with colleagues who ended up being professors at various Catalonian universities. He also coincided with a group of colleagues from Seville (Rafael Moreno, José López, Santiago Benjumea and Francisco Fernández Serra) with whom he would later participate in the Center for Behavioral Studies; a private center where, in addition to carrying out behavioral therapies, consultancy was carried out in the school and human resources fields and, likewise, one of the first animal behavior research laboratories in Spain was designed and created.
