The Role of Labor Resources in the Development of Engagement.

The main objective of this work is to offer a brief overview of the evolution of research on burnout, towards its opposite: engagement. We begin with the exposition of the theoretical approach based on the new movement of Positive Psychology. Likewise, we expose the needs of modern organizations, the importance that they acquire in having motivated personnel and their repercussion in the optimal development of them. Second, we define the engagement and describe the main labor resources that scientific research has shown to contribute to their development and to the psychosocialwell-being of employees employed in current organizations.
