Development of Psychological Violence during Courtship in couple of Young University Students

The research examines the phenomenon of psychological abuse and the presence of the factors associated with it (“impairment”, “hostility, “ “indifference, “”intimidation”, “imposition of conduct”, “guilt” and “apparent goodness”) in intimate relationships of young university students. The paper aims to provide a better understanding regarding the relationship between the age variable and the exercise behaviors of psychological abuse. 1,080 students attended the University of Extremadura (Spain), aged between 17 and 23. Results indicate that the age range of 1718 years is where is evidence of a greater number of indicators of psychological violence. It seems that there is a high relationship between early onset of violence and severe and chronic nature of abuse in adulthood. It is proposed to anticipate the conjugal conflict situations such important measures as early emotional education.
