Discriminación de la ansiedad a través del Test Gestáltico Bender

Abstract

Family and teachers usually understand the value of the prevention, but only when the child’s symptoms of the conflict emerge, they begin to be concerned on the emotional problems. Because it is very important a good early diagnosis of the emotional dysfunctions, this work aims to determine if the Bender Test could be used as discriminator of children’s anxiety. The Bender Test and STAIC were applied to 722 subjects from 9 to 11 years. By Pearson correlation coefficient we obtain that neither Bender Test, neither emotional indicators proposed by Koppitz (1981), are valid predictors of anxiety. Only between confused order indicator, and the Scale of Anxiety-State was found a significant
correlation.
