Stress is nowadays, a problem to what an increasing attention is being paid. However, academic stress or student’s stress does not receive the sufficient attention in the field of investigation. For that reason, it is tried to study in this work the relation between the level of stress and the examinations in the university students, as well as analyzing the influence of certain health indicators and the students’ self academic opinion. In this study, they have participated 40 students of fourth year of the degrees of Psychology, Economic Sciences, English Literature and Grammar, and Hispanic Literature and Grammar. They were evaluated through two temporary moments that differed in the proximity to the date of the examinations: period without examinations (March) and period with
examinations (June). In general, results show an increase in the level of stress of college students during the period of examinations. They were observed significant differences in the level of stress reached by psychology students with respect to the one reached by hispanic literature and grammar students, during the two periods analyzed. There have
been also noted health alterations (anxiety, tobacco, caffeine or drug consumptions, dream and food alterations) during the period of presence of the stressor.
