Abstract

On June 6, 7, and 8, 1991, the First Meeting on Legal Psychology took place in Pamplona, organised by the Government of Navarra, the Official Association of Psychologists, and the British Psychological Society.

The two main objectives of this Meeting were: to bring together specialists from both countries in order to maximise dialogue and research opportunities, and to give institutional recognition to this specialty, which until relatively recently had been largely neglected. Unfortunately, few university departments still pay it sufficient attention, and, indeed, none of the Spanish universities are currently working across all areas of legal psychology.
