.Abstract
In the occupational environment of Social Services, except for honorable exceptions, essential working conditions and technical improvements necessary for their proper functioning are lacking. Efforts at change by professionals in this field are easily weakened or thwarted. This produces a situation of vulnerability that prevents cooperative and supportive responses. Consequently, various individual and conformist adaptation styles will emerge in response to the status quo. From a social perspective, this professional and technical vulnerability can be generalized to other fields beyond social services.
