Abstract

Separations and divorces are more are more frequent within familiar relationships in our society. Fir that reason, there are more conflictive separations. Sometimes, we do not pay attention to the repercussions that those conflictive separations may bring regarding the relations with the children after the separation. The following study analyses how the interparental conflict in familiar separations may modify the relations between parents and their children after the fracture, and how the conflict itself positions parents. As we will see, children are very often manipulated,
conscious or unconsciously, for their own interest, without taking into account the children’s emotional development.
