Fourteen years of social services in Andalusia

Abstract

We would like to point out, first of all, that analysing the evolution of social services in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia over recent years is a complex task that would require more pages than are available for this document. In addition to the length such a task would demand, the analysis would need to be differentiated according to the entity conducting it. In the field of social services, the State, Regional, and Local administrations, social initiatives, and more recently, private profit-driven initiatives all play a role to varying degrees. Depending on which of these institutions acts as the screenwriter, the resulting picture will be one version or another.
