Considerations on the exercise of the protective authority of the Juvenile Guardianship Courts

Abstract

If any occasion is suitable for discussing minors, their problems, the little or no attention they receive from the administration and society in general... when that occasion is provided by the journal of the Official Association of Psychologists of Western Andalusia, it becomes necessary to seize it for a dual reason: on one hand, because of its wide reach; on the other, because of the personal qualities of its potential readership. Today, whenever models for organising social services related to minors are discussed, psychologists are involved. This paper aims to contribute to the opening of new areas of collaboration between individuals or institutions dealing with issues concerning marginalised children.
