This work shows a critical review of qualitative studies conducted on violence in dating relationships, with particular emphasis on the collection methods used and the issues that have been deepened in this type of violence, in order to mark a basic registry that can contribute to a greater knowledge on the subject. Based on a literature review, 17 articles were identified in specialized databases from a total of 103 scientific documents that show results of studies conducted in Ibero-America during the period 2003 - 2017. The results reveal a predominance of quantitative studies on qualitative. The latter are preferably oriented to bibliographic reviews on prevalence studies, risk factors, causes of dating violence, as well as intervention programs for both prevention and rehabilitation.Downloads
