This paper is centered in a critical analysis of the concept of childhood psychological disorders, with a special emphasis in aggressiveness problems and the disorder that deincludes it as one of the major descriptive symptoms as conduct disorder. In the first part is defended that any psychological disorder always must be conceptualized form an adaptive and functional perspective, but not from a deficit model. In the second part, several different techniques which permit understanding how children construct their own experience are described and how they developed as functional an aggressive behavior from personal construction. In the last part, a multilevel approach including school, family, personal, behavioral and meaning issues is discussed as the better procedure to work with aggressive problems in childhood.
